Valley Flashing
Valleys require particularly sturdy flashing because they carry more water than any individual roof plane.

On asphalt-shingle roofs, we weave the shingles across the valleys. This is generally the best way to handle valleys between roof planes of different pitches. Another fairly common technique for asphalt-shingle roofs is to leave the valley open his is called an Open Valley which leaves the metal exposed and the shingles are cut back from the valley not weaved.

Valley Metal comes in different sizes and gauges.
